We believe in supporting our local community in Mt-Wa-Mbu, and giving back to the community.

Below is the orphanage we support:

Nsya Lodge supports MAJENGO CHILDREN’S HOME in Mto Wa Mbu, TANZANIA

We support the children at Majengo by providing them food and clothes, we also allow all the children to come and use the swimming facilities at the lodge. If visitors would like to visit the orphanage and donate to the orphanage this can be arranged as well during their stay at Nsya Lodge.

All our staff are employed from Mt-Wa-Mbu village, we provide training for them. Most our furniture is made locally, the local artisans have showed there talent by doing various paintings and wood carvings on the walls of the lodge and rooms, if any of clients like the artwork the artisan is able to sell their paintings to our clients, we do encourage our clients during their stay to purchase one small painting or carving to support the artisans, if not more.

We are currently working on a project with Mt-Wa-Mbu local government to support 3 local nursery and primary schools by continually raising money for chairs, tables and stationery, throughout the year.
